C.L.I.P - MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of our Non-Profit organisation is to connect, enhance and preserve networks for those working in the Film, TV, Theatre, Events and Media Industry.
We believe in the value of connection, communication and information.
There are moments in our professional lives in which we may need to turn to others, who we would otherwise not encounter on a day-to-day basis. This may be crew/team members from your own department often removed on distant projects, or possibly other departments all together.
The reason for reaching out and connecting may also be entirely different for each person. From job searching, bringing teams together for a production/project of their own, or simply exchanging industry knowledge to expand one’s experience.
CLIP was formed at a time of industry uncertainty and stillness.
It was understood that with enhanced social connections and more commonly shared information, perhaps those in need of projects during a difficult time could have readily available connections with existing or new colleagues in various departments that are continuing to flourish.
There are many ways in which to use the resources and connections freely offered by CLIP, tailored to an individual’s needs at will.
We aim to build and offer a platform where we can all come to discuss, understand and unify. Ultimately bringing likeminded people together.
CLIP aim to host twice annual social events across London and Scotland, two areas of the UK with thriving entertainment production industries: along with a monthly newsletter offering updates, future project information and knowledge.
