MITCH BELLGREEN

My professional career kicked off straight out of the gates of University. I began working on commercials in London, my favourite being a Vietnamese Coffee commercial. Post my brief commercial stint I began work on Fantastic Beasts 1 at Warner Bros Studios, and I haven’t looked back since. My career has been littered with moments of utter joy and the occasional pondering of “what would I do if not this”, I’m always stumped.

My background is in Locations, starting as an assistant to my current position of Studio/Unit Manager. I can honestly say that there’s never been anything else that I would rather do, working amongst a dynamic team of people creating chaos that turns into seamless entertainment provides me with a feeling of achievement and triumph, albeit being a small cog in a big machine I’ve never felt profound satisfaction as I do when finishing a hard day managing a Unit at a tough location.

The Film and TV Production industry for me is one where a blend of people can come together that in other circumstances perhaps wouldn’t find themselves working together, but for the sake of entertainment, they are thrown together and can create moments on screen for audiences that will last a lifetime, for me this is why CLIP is so important, to further establish these connection and meaningful relationships. Work can be our lives, so why not know who you are working with.
